It was nice to welcome back Farnham AS to one of our club matches and meet with many old friends, 41 fished in the end so we decided to keep the match all on Richardson freeing up Harris for pleasure anglers. Trevor Haskell won the day from peg 6 with 32lbs taken on dead maggot and the method from Phil Morris on peg 39 with 31lb. Third was Eddie Rippon on peg 5 with 26lb and fourth was Chris Ludlow on peg 45 with 21lb. Section winners were, Mark Gillam 16.13.0, Ged Cooper 18.8.0, Colin Underwood 16.12.0 and Ian Turner 18.0.0.

Woking had a clean sweep of the places with Bill Marchant coming out on top with a super bag of 173lb of prime sumners carp from second placed A Love on 130lb. Third place went to Dave Steer fishing under the Woking banner with 125lb. Some Godalming pride was restored with Phil Morris, Clare Hollis and Trevor Haskell winning their sections.The final section went to organise on the day Stu Kendall.

Second place went to Colin Sax on peg 17 by the island catching Tench Bream and bits to finsh just behind Andy. Third was Lee Simmons on peg 23 on the far bank also with Bream on the feeder from fourth placed Perry Gray on peg 1.

Bramley bailiff Ken Cardwell chose the long walk to the top end of the lake and was rewarded with a bag of 55lbs made up of Tench & Bream and the win on the day. It was nice to see River Bailiff Pete gains out again despite poor health but he still managed second with 31lbs from arch rival head bailiff David wood who had 27lbs. Most fish on the day went to Johnsons bailiff Martin Redfern with 150 plus fish for 15lb and fourth place

Brians Stevens took the win from end peg 20 down opposite the boathouse on the left hand bank taking a mixed bag of Tench Bream and bits for 69lb on the pole and pellet. Second at the opposite end was Chris Kampa on peg 6 with 42lb narrowly beating Charlie Salmon on peg 8 who had 39lb. Dorking match captn Martin Cooper on peg 32 was fourth with 31lb.

Thirty seven Godalming and Farnham anglers fished this inter club match an Badshot Lea small pond on a very warm bright sunny day with temperatures reaching 25c. Farnham had a clean sweep of the places using their local knowledge of the water. Tony Medleycott won from peg 28 taking Bream and skimmers for 17lb, Ian Turner on 38 was second with a similar bag for 16.6.0. Jason Willowby and Simon Hunter were third and fourth. Godalming anglers Roy Fiander, Ian Covey, Eddie Rippon and Colin Underwood picked up section wins. Although the conditions made for poor fishing it was nice to fish a big inter club match again another local side with lots of banter from both sides
