Added on November 07, 2025

We have organised a pike handling workshop for members on Saturday the 29th of November – details below. The course will cover basic methods and tactics and include a section on trace making. Upon completion, members will be issued with a certificate which should be shown to bailiffs when pike fishing on Society waters.

Venue: Marsh Farm Pavilion, GU8 5AE

Time: 10 am start

Duration: 2 ½ hours (approx.)

Cost: Free - no booking required

Important: Please bring your unhooking equipment, weight sling and unhooking mat with you.

We appreciate that this is late in the season and apologise for not having organised a workshop sooner.  Any member who wants to complete a workshop but is unable to attend on this date should contact the society by email on [email protected] and we will try and organise an alternative time.
