Fishing at Broadwater on 20th May 2017 Dean Humphries landed a 24lb 7oz common carp from swim 14 in the margins using a snowman rig.

This was the largest fish of the day in a catch which included 9 more carp to 22lbs.

On Wednesday 5th April 2017 member Steve Scoltock fished Johnson's lake and caught a crucian of 4lb 9oz, just 1oz short of the current British record.

Steve fished a day session on the railway bank from 9:30 until 19:30, catching just three fish, all crucians weighing 2lb 13oz, then 3lb 8oz and finally the 4lb 9oz fish. 

Whilst fishing at Johnson's on Monday 27th March 2017 Steve Chatfield landed an excellent 6lb 14oz tench, the best of a three caught on the day.
