Waverley Borough Council are in the early stages of planning what to do with the former golf course land at Broadwater Park.  You can read more about the area by following the link below:

The Society is following developments closely and will work to ensure that any possible impacts on surface runoff or groundwater infiltration into Broadwater Lake are properly identified and planned for.

The General Committee would like to remind members of general bye-law 12 of the society:

"Dogs: dogs must be kept on a lead and under strict control"

Not all members are comfortable around dogs and keeping them under a lead and under control means everyone can enjoy their time on our waters.

Broadwater Lake will be COSED on Monday the 27th February for essential silt management works
