We have organised a pike handling workshop for members on Saturday the 29^th of November – details below. The course will cover basic methods and tactics and include a section on trace making. Upon completion, members will be issued with a certificate which should be shown to bailiffs when pike fishing on Society waters.

Venue: Marsh Farm Pavilion, GU8 5AE

Time: 10 am start

Duration: 2 ½ hours (approx.)

Cost: Free - no booking required

Important: Please bring your unhooking equipment, weight sling and unhooking mat with you.

We appreciate that this is late in the season and apologise for not having organised a workshop sooner.  Any member who wants to complete a workshop but is unable to attend on this date should contact the society by email on [email protected] and we will try and organise an alternative time.

Tree work will take place at Harris Lake between 10th and 14th November and again between 17th and 18th. 

The lake will remain open for fishing but please expect noise and disturbance and follow any instructions that may be given.
