Added on November 15, 2024

To promote better fish welfare the general committee has agreed the following rule changes regarding bait use at Johnson's lake:

  1. The use of maize, nuts, pulses, beans, parti-mix and bird conditioner is not allowed. Other particles such as hemp, sweetcorn and tares can be used.

  2. The  use of spods and spombs is banned from the 1st December to  last day of February inclusive

Please note that rule change 1 applies all year round.

Upper Eashing- closed during works
Added on November 11, 2024

The works at Upper Eashing - which we announced in September - have over run due to the extremely wet autumn weather.

We advise anglers not to visit Upper Eashing until the works are completed. It is hard to predict when this will be as the weather may still prove challenging.  We will let you know when it is safe to access this part of the river again.

We apologise for any inconvenience.
