Bring any hand tools you may think useful
Remember no chainsaws to be used due to H&S and WBC rules

28 September PIKE TEACH IN

We are holding a pike teach-in on the 28th September.

Time: 10 am

Duration: 90 minute (approx.)

Venue: Marsh Farm Pavilion GU8 5AE

Cost: FREE

Booking: no pre booking needed, just turn up!


The course will cover:

  • Safe handling of pike
  • Unhooking
  • Trace making
  • Tactics
  • Lure bait and fly setups

Please bring your pike handling equipment with you to the session.

On completion you will receive a pike handling card to stick in your permit and show bailiffs when fsihing at wood lake.

NB If you have proof of attendance at another pike handling teach-in, for example at Farnham, this can be used instead of attending a GAS course.

If you can't make this session, future dates will be announced in due course.

6th July- Swim closures Harris Lake

Swim closures Harris Lake Saturday 6th July – Please note that swims 1-9 and 32 – 45 on Harris Lake will be closed for installation of aeration equipment on Saturday 6th July. 


There will be boat movements and volunteers on the island and in the water installing air lines and diffusers.

We apologise for any inconvenience.
