Lee Noakes has been awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Angling Trust.

This is in recognition of the work he has done working with the Environment agency and local police forces to train officers about angling as an industry and angling related crimes. 

Lee is pictured with Dave Ewing, our head coach, who delivered some of the training and Dave Wilkins of the Angling Trust.

Strong winds continue to feature in the forecast over the next couple of days.

We urge all members to use common sense when fishing in strong winds.  In addition be aware that if weather warnings are upgraded to amber or red you may be asked to leave a water for safety reasons.

There is currently a RED wind warning for Friday the 18th of Feb

All waters will CLOSE at 23.00 this evening- Thursday the 17th Feb.- until 08.00 Saturday the 19th Feb.

This is because of the risk to members from falling trees and branches.
