Marsh Farm Day Tickets
Before purchasing a day ticket please check the notice boards in the main car park where all reserved match and coaching pegs for the day will be listed. Day tickets must be purchased prior to fishing from the on-site Apollo Angling Centre (open every day except Christmas Day; opens at 7:30am from 1st March to the end of October and at 8am from 1st November to the end of February). Do not take any tackle onto the waters until you have purchased a day ticket. There will be no exceptions to this rule.
Day ticket prices are currently:
Juniors, OAPs and Concessions - £7 for one rod and £10 for two rods.
(but please note that Junior annual membership is only £20 and runs from July 1st - June 30th the following year)
Adults - £10 for one rod and £15 for two rods.
You may pay by cash, cheque or card at Apollo Angling
Landing net heads - will be provided for all visiting anglers by the on-site shop against a refundable cash deposit of £10 if your landing net, (which needs to be examined in the shop at the time of purchasing your day ticket), is not deemed to be bone dry. Bringing your own dry net will mean that you can fish on until the lake closing time which varies each month throughout the year (*see below) - but if you are using one from the shop you will need to leave by 5.00pm when the shop shuts to be able to obtain your deposit refund. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Keepnets may not be used other than in authorised competitions.
Please note the opening hours of the shop to ensure you obtain your refund. Bring your own landing net handle!!!
*Marsh Farm gates will be closed when the tackle shop shuts. This is usually at 5pm in winter and 5.30pm in summer. Please check with the shop when buying your day ticket.
Members can also buy guest tickets for Marsh Farm. These are available from apollo at a reduced rate and members can enter and leave the fishery with their guests outside of day ticket hours.
