Broadwater bait limits lifted

We have changed Broadwater Bye Law 1 and lifted the 2kg dry weight limit on bait to be used over a 12 hour period.


You are now free to use more bait if you want to.  Please note that restrictions on cereal based groundbaits, bread and nuts still apply.  Fishmeal based groundbaits are permitted.

6th-8th July- essential tree work Wood Lake

Following our recent tree survey essential tree work will be happening at wood lake between the 6th and 8th July.

 


Work will be taking place between 8am and 4pm.

Wed 1st June- Morning disruption at Broadwater pegs 5-14

The second spraying of oak trees at Broadwater has been commissioned by the Forestry Commission to happen on 1st June early in the morning.


Work will take about an hour and anglers can leave their gear on the pegs if they are already fishing.
