Membership Information

There is no waiting list to join Godalming Angling Society for either Senior or Junior membership. New members are invited to join at any time up to the end of March in any season.  Please note that our membership year runs from July 1st through to June 30th in the following year.

Senior member renewals.  Renewals for the coming season will be available to buy from Clubmate from the 1st April of each year.

Young adult membership.  We have a special young adult membership option for young people aged between 16 and 24.  these are available to buy or renew through Clubmate.

Junior membership commences from the age of 7 years and permits may be purchased online from Clubmate ( see link above)  or directly from Apollo Angling Centre at Marsh Farm or R&V Newsagents, 7 Meadrow, Godalming, GU7 3HJ. 

Juniors under the age of 7 years do not need a permit to fish the Society waters but they must be accompanied by a Senior member.

 Winkworth fly Fishers: the Society also has a small and friendly trout section, Winkworth Flyfishers, who fish the well-stocked, beautiful, 5 acre lake at Winkworth Arboretum, a National Trust property 3km south of Godalming.  Anglers do not have to be members of the National Trust.    For further information, please e-mail godalming.angling@gmail.com or phone Dave Ewing on 01483 416172 during office hours.
