Lovely Eashing barbel

11lbs 2oz barbel

Colin Woolgar has fished for and been catching the barbel at Eashing on three occasions over the last week.

In particular on Saturday 1st September 2018 he landed two barbel the best being an 11lbs 2oz fighter as shown in the picture.

On Saturday 14th July 2018 Tony Kirk and friend landed a total of 70 carp between them from Broadwater lake, the largest fish being a 27lbs leather.

On Tuesday 1st May evening Tim Toogood landed a 24lb 4oz common carp from Broadwater lake caught using a wafter hook bait.
