Charity open match on Richardson lake Sunday 18th August

This seasons Charity match is being held at Marsh Farm Richardson lake on Sunday 18th August and we hope all the competitors make it another great match and day as per previous years gone by. Fees on the day are £20 with £10 going to the charity, enter via the Match booking line 01483 415386 or contact Roger or Roy. I am sure Tony Corpes ( Who donated all his winnings to the Charity on the day last year) will not let his championship go very easily but we hope you all have a great day out in aid of a very worthy cause. Draw is 8-30 am at the lake and fishing is 10am until 3-30pm started on an air horn by Roy Fiander who's efforts make this event happen each year. If you are unable to fish but still wish to donate something to the cause be it monies or a raffle prize the guys at the on site Apollo shop will take it and pass it on to Roger or Roy

This year all monies are going to Headway (Surrey) and all the money raised today will be pooled together with the money collected on Curry night in early July.

The Headway team  treat people who have either had a traumatic brain injury or a Hypoxic Brain injury The first type of Brain Injury is normally occasioned on an impact injury such as a vehicle ,sports , trauma or a large impact to the Head , Hypoxic brain injury is caused by lack of oxygen from a cardiac Arrest , drowning , choking and many other types of traumas .So please dig deep as you normally do please anglers you never know who could be next ?

Roger Howe as ever will run the match on the day and i really do appreciate his help running the match as this is so dear to my heart, thanks to you Roger for being the main man as usual on the day. Thanks also to the Godalming Angling Society committee who donate the lake and facilities free of charge on the day.
