The Shootng Star children's hospice have asked whether any of our members would have some time to spare to volunteer to clean their fish tanks at Ardington, Guildford once a week.
This is a bit of a tenuous link to an angling club but if anyone does know a bit about fish keeping and has some time for volunteering the contact is:

There will be a match on HARRIS lake on Sunday the 2nd July and another at BRAMLEY on the 9th July.
These have been omitted from the match list in the new season handbook.

New Thames Valley Angling Association membership
THAMES VALLEY ANGLING ASSOSIATION MEMBERSHIP
Godalming Angling Society have from 16th June 2023 joined the Thames Valley Angling Association. There are several member clubs who have joined to form the association
Our members will now have access to over a dozen new waters in the Thames valley area including several stretches of the Thames and its tributaries, Wey navigation and Grand union canals
Please note membership only gives access to the waters listed on the WVAA website http://thamesvalleyaa.co.uk. We do not have access to other member clubs private waters and likewise they do not have access to our private waters either. The exception to this is the River Wey from the Town Bridge Godalming to the Theatre in Guildford will be open to association members.
