On the 18th November Marsh Farm and Johnson’s will be closed for essential maintenance between 6am and 9am.

Waverley Borough Council have informed us that they will be doing tree works at Broadwater on the week commencing 17th November.

Anglers may fish as usual but there will be some noise disturbance and equipment being moved on the site.

We have organised a pike handling workshop for members on Saturday the 29^th of November – details below. The course will cover basic methods and tactics and include a section on trace making. Upon completion, members will be issued with a certificate which should be shown to bailiffs when pike fishing on Society waters.

Venue: Marsh Farm Pavilion, GU8 5AE

Time: 10 am start

Duration: 2 ½ hours (approx.)

Cost: Free - no booking required

Important: Please bring your unhooking equipment, weight sling and unhooking mat with you.

We appreciate that this is late in the season and apologise for not having organised a workshop sooner.  Any member who wants to complete a workshop but is unable to attend on this date should contact the society by email on [email protected] and we will try and organise an alternative time.
