The second phase of tree spraying at Broadwater has been re-scheduled for Friday 10th June .
Work starts at 5 am and will be finished by 7. Affect's pegs 3-14 anglers can leave their gear in the swims if they wish.
We apologise for both the short notice and inconvenience. We have only been informed of the time and dates minutes before this announcement went live
We close Hill Pond on every Friday before a coaching event to give the pond a rest
I am sure we all agree it is important to introduce people to our great sport.
We offer a great programme of caching to young (and not so young) anglers. It is important that newcomers to the sport can catch fish on their first time out. Resting Hill Pond for a day gives us the best chance of making these coaching events successful.
We appreciate your support and understanding

Head coach
We have just been informed that the Forestry commission have subcontractors coming to the lake to spray oak trees between pegs 5 and 14 at Broadwater.
They plan to start early in the morning so hopefully the area will be cleared in a couple of hours. They will need to return within a fortnight for a second spraying but as yet we have no date for this.
Should take about an hour to complete the spraying.
Sorry for any inconvenience and the short notice.
