Inter Club Match v Warlingham
This was the last big inter club match of the season before the clocks go back and winter sets in. The match was fished on a very cold windy day following a cold night and that affected the weights especially on a particularly bleak Harris with the summer growth on the islands cut back hard. The few fish that were caught were in the most sheltered areas. The match was divided into four sections as we were using pegs on both lakes and we paid out to the top three in each. The top weight angler Terry Archer is shown in the picture, Terry had two Tench and one Bream in the last 20 minutes on worm to seal the win. The section results were as follows.
Harris lake pegs 2-16. 1st Andy Rogers 4.10.0 peg 5, 2nd was a tie between John Benjamin peg 3 and Brian Wallis peg 6 with 2.5.0.
Harris Lake pegs 18-34 1st Paul Oliver 9.3.0 peg 21. 2nd Alan Stevens 4.6.0 peg 25 and 3rd Trevor Haskell 2.10.0 peg 28.
