Added on February 16, 2020

The General Committee decided at their Wednesday 12th February meeting that if there is an Amber wind warning ⚠️ highlighted on the Met Office weather site the following lakes will be closed for the duration of this Amber warning:

  • Johnsons lake.
  • Wood lake.
  • Bramley lake.

Please check our www.godalminganglingsociety.co.uk webite or our members only Facebook page for notification of closures.

Also the Apollo shop at Marsh Farm will know and be able to tell you of any closures or you can contact me on my mobile which is listed in the Members Handbook.

In addition there will be notices placed on the gates to each fishery.

Please remember this is for your safety.
